This ETF holds shares of companies in the utilities industry from developed countries around the world. The utilities industry includes businesses that provide essential services such as electricity, gas and water, and the fund aims to reflect the performance of a widely recognised index made up of these companies.

The MSCI World Utilities TRN Index aims to reflect the performance of large and mid‑cap companies from global developed markets part of the Utilities sector as classified by GICS, is weighted by free‑float adjusted market capitalisation and reviewed on a quarterly basis.
