How InvestEngine started
Launched in 2019, InvestEngine was created by our Managing Director, Andrey Dobrynin, and Simon Crookall, one of the co‑founders of Gumtree.
The mission was – and still is – to make investing more simple, more accessible and more powerful. We’ve grown a lot since we opened for business in 2019, welcoming over 34,000 investors onto the platform and holding over £310 million in assets under management.
Similarly, our team has grown from a handful of people to a full cohort of talented people, with people helping us grow in cities from London to Tbilisi.
