Index details

The Solactive ETC Group Web 3.0 index offers exposures to companies that are selected using ARTIS®, Solactive’s proprietary natural language processing algorithm, which screens public information to identify companies exposed to the four web 3.0 sectors. Using keywords that describe the categories around web 3.0, ARTIS® identifies companies that have or are expected to have exposure to the provision of products / services that contribute to each industry category. ARITS® analyses the products and/or services deemed to suit the industry categories separately for each of the four industry categories: NFT & Tokenization; Blockchain Technology; Metaverse; Big Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Within the four index categories, each company identified by ARTIS® receives a score that reflects their exposure to the relevant industry category. This set of companies are then reviewed to ensure relevance to the industry category based on business operations. Companies that do not have relevant business exposure to the industry category are removed from the selection process at this stage.
