ETF description

This ETF aims to provide exposure to high quality growth equities, alongside sovereign bonds, to grow wealth ahead of inflation while protecting capital during market downturns. The Global Balanced ETF is actively managed by the expert team at Harwood Capital Management and will principally invest in growth equities, with an additional defensive allocation to sovereign bonds.

Index details

The Global Balanced ETF is actively managed by the expert team at Harwood Capital Management. The investment team has an average of over 30 years’ investment experience. They use this deep knowledge and experience, alongside the below process, and then augment this with a purpose‑built AI model. In constructing the fund’s portfolio, the investment team highlights three key elements that allow them to judge ‘value for money’ through the cycle to build a portfolio that offers the opportunity and diversification required:

Quality: The initial selection process is built around themes and sectors that we believe could be poised for significant growth. Within these, we identify key companies that may benefit. Valuation: This has two independent facets, one of which analyses the value of the cash flows, the other the value of the franchise. Structure: incorporating the sovereign bonds and ensuring the overall balance of the fund is set up to achieve that consistent growth in capital ahead of inflation.

ETFs have spreads and annual charges and come with risks like market volatility, liquidity, and concentration, and may not always accurately track their index. Past performance and forecasts are not reliable indicators of future results. The value of your investments, including any income, can rise or fall. You may get back less than you originally invested.
Whenever you invest, your capital is at risk
This could mean the value of your investments goes down as well as up.
