ETF description

This ETF aims to provide investors with exposure to bonds issued by the UK government, known as gilts.

It might appeal to investors who are looking for a lower risk investment. Government bonds are generally considered to be lower risk compared to other types of investments, as they are backed by the government.

Because the ETF holds bonds issued by the UK government, the fund’s value can be influenced by changes in interest rates and the perceived stability of the UK government. If interest rates rise, the market value of the bonds typically falls, and vice versa.

Issuer details

ETFs have spreads and annual charges and come with risks like market volatility, liquidity, and concentration, and may not always accurately track their index. Past performance and forecasts are not reliable indicators of future results. The value of your investments, including any income, can rise or fall. You may get back less than you originally invested.
Whenever you invest, your capital is at risk
This could mean the value of your investments goes down as well as up.
