Referral Program Terms and Conditions

Until 16th December 2022, any individual whose Referee completes registration and funds their portfolio with InvestEngine, will qualify for £20 ‘Referral Funding’ for both the Referrer and Referee provided they both meet the terms and conditions below.

During the period 21/09/22 to 31/10/22 Referrers will also receive one competition entry into our prize draw (the ‘Prize Draw’) to win one of ten, £100 investment bonus prizes for each successful referral.

The ‘Prize Draw’ is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

The Prize Draw winners will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will take place on 07/11/2022.

The £100 prize will be added to the winners’ first portfolio on InvestEngine within 14 days.

The winner and the Referee must maintain a minimum net investment of the Minimum Portfolio level (£100 not including any bonuses, reward or any other promotional amount offered by InvestEngine) for a minimum of 12 months from the date they funded their account before the winner can withdraw the prize.

The names of the Prize Draw winners will be available six weeks after the closing date and can be obtained by sending an SAE to InvestEngine (UK) Limited, 4th Floor, 57-59 Great Suffolk Street, London, SE1 0BB.

InvestEngine reserves the right to amend or discontinue the Prize Draw at any time with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control. The decision of InvestEngine in all matters under its control is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into. The Prize Draw will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Referrer: In order to refer a friend you must have already created and registered an InvestEngine Client Account, as well as invested in an InvestEngine Portfolio with at least £100 of your own money (excluding other promotional offers) prior to making the referral.

Referee (Friend): A Referee must be a new customer and have not previously registered with InvestEngine or have used our services in the past. The Referrer and Referee must both, in InvestEngine’s reasonable opinion, be capable of being accepted as a customer of InvestEngine, in accordance with the requirements of InvestEngine’s Standard Terms and Conditions, and all applicable law. The Referral Program is only valid for the first twenty-five referrals made by the Referrer. A Referrer may make more than twenty-five referrals, but these will not result in Referral Funding for either the Referrer or the Referee.

In order to benefit from this referral program the Referrer must complete an InvestEngine referral for a valid Referee.

Completing an InvestEngine referral:

The ‘Referrer’ must submit their email address via InvestEngine’s GrowSurf competition landing page or via the email submission form on InvestEngine’s DIY landing page.
Then, the Referrer must share their unique referral link with a Referee.
The Referee then must click on the link and submit their email address on InvestEngine’s GrowSurf landing page.
The Referee must then complete registration in accordance with the requirements of InvestEngine’s Standard Terms and Conditions, and all applicable law.
Only referrals that are accepted by the GrowSurf system and by InvestEngine will count. Self-referrals are not accepted.

Following the completion of the Referee’s registration with InvestEngine and investment into their Portfolio of £100, we will fund £20 into both the Referrer and Referee’s designated Portfolio. We will seek to complete this within two Business Days, however it may take up to 5 or more Business Days during busy periods. If your Referral Funding has not been received within 5 Business Days, please contact our Support team. Corporate customers will not be able to invest without a valid LEI.

Following investment, both the Referee and Referrer must remain invested for a minimum of 12 months from the date they completed registration, maintaining a minimum net investment funding of £120. Other promotional rewards do not count towards this total. Failure to comply with the above requirements shall result in InvestEngine reclaiming an amount equal to the value of the Referral Funding from the Referrer’s and Referee’s Client Account.

We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions for this referral program at any time or withdraw the program in its entirety without notice, for reasons practical, operational or otherwise. We reserve the right to disqualify bonuses, rewards or any promotional amount earned through fraudulent, illegal or abusive methods. This offer is subject to our Standard Terms and Conditions and the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall exclusively be submitted to and dealt with by the competent court in England and Wales. Should there be any material conflict between the terms of this offer and the Standard Terms and Conditions, the standard terms and conditions shall prevail.

July Welcome Bonus Terms and Conditions

In the period 05/07/2022 to 31/07/2022 all ‘Existing Users’ who have signed up (created an account by submitting their email address) for InvestEngine but are yet to invest, will qualify for a £25 Welcome Bonus when they successfully complete registration and invest at least £100.

Bonuses will be paid within 10 business days after the promotion finishes on 31/07/22.

The offer is only open to users who have created an account prior to 05/07/22 who subsequently invest by 31/07/22 and only applies to one Portfolio per customer.

‘Existing Users’ are individuals who:

have successfully created an account but are yet to complete the registration process and/or invested in a Portfolio;
have not previously completed registered with InvestEngine or invested with our services in the past; and
in InvestEngine’s reasonable opinion, are capable of being accepted as a customer of InvestEngine, in accordance with the requirements of InvestEngine’s Standard Terms and Conditions and all applicable law.

InvestEngine reserves the right to cancel any Client Accounts which do not meet these criteria.

An individual or business will be considered to have completed the registration process if they have:

completed the InvestEngine risk questionnaire if required;
provided all requisite information about themselves or the business as required by our onboarding process;
agreed to our Standard Terms and Conditions and any accompanying documentation; and
provided details for a valid nominated bank account.

All qualifying accounts who successfully fund a portfolio with InvestEngine, will receive £25 into their designated Portfolio (a “Welcome Bonus”). We will seek to complete this within 10 Business Days following the completion of the promotion.

Corporate customers will not be able to invest without a valid LEI.

The New Customer must maintain a minimum net investment of the Minimum Portfolio level (£100 not including any bonuses, reward or any other promotional amount offered by InvestEngine) for a minimum of 12 months from the date they funded their account.

Failure to comply with the above requirements shall result in InvestEngine reclaiming an amount equal to the value of the Welcome Bonus. The Minimum Portfolio limit as referred to in our Standard Terms and Conditions applies where relevant. Failure to meet our Standard Terms and Conditions may result in the closure of your Client Account.

Should a New Customer open an ISA with InvestEngine and fail to invest in the designated Portfolio as required above within 30 days, InvestEngine will treat this failure to invest as effective cancellation of their ISA agreement in accordance with our Standard Terms and Conditions. This will not count as opening an ISA within the relevant tax year or part of any ISA allowance.

We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions for our July Welcome Bonus program at any time or withdraw the program in its entirety without notice, for reasons practical, operational or otherwise. We reserve the right to disqualify bonuses, rewards or any promotional amount earned through fraudulent, illegal or abusive methods. Partner Rewards Terms and Conditions

From time-to-time new customers who successfully open and fund an account with InvestEngine through a Partner Link or Code will qualify for a Partner Reward to be added to their chosen portfolio provided they meet the terms and conditions below.

For the purpose of these terms “New Customers” are individuals who:

have successfully opened and funded an account with InvestEngine and chosen a Portfolio;
have not previously opened an account with InvestEngine or have used our services in the past; and
have arrived at InvestEngine’s landing page via a tracked Partner Link
in InvestEngine’s reasonable opinion, are capable of being accepted as a customer of InvestEngine, in accordance with the requirements of InvestEngine’s Standard Terms and Conditions and all applicable law.

InvestEngine reserves the right to cancel any Client Accounts which do not meet these criteria.

An individual or business will be considered to have opened and funded an account if they have:

Following the opening and funding of an account with InvestEngine, we will fund the amount eligible under the reward amount as specified by the Partner into the New Customers’ designated Portfolio (a “Partner Reward”). We will seek to complete this within two Business Days, however it may take up to 5 or more Business Days during busy periods. The New Customer must maintain a minimum net investment of the Minimum Portfolio level (£100) or the minimum amount as specified by the relevant Partner, whichever is higher (not including any bonuses, reward or any other promotional amount offered by InvestEngine) for a minimum of 12 months from the date they funded their account.

You will only be eligible for a Partner Reward where use of your Partner Link has been successfully tracked by our tracking provider, Impact. Disabling cookies, using adblockers or switching computers/browsers may affect Impact’s ability to track your use of the Partner Link and you will not be entitled to the Partner Reward.

Failure to comply with the above requirements shall result in InvestEngine reclaiming an amount equal to the value of the Partner Reward. The Minimum Portfolio limit as referred to in our Standard Terms and Conditions applies where relevant. Failure to meet our Standard Terms and Conditions may result in the closure of your Client Account.

There is one £200 investment prize on offer. The Prize Draw winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will take place on 05/08/2022.

The winner must maintain a minimum net investment of the Minimum Portfolio level (£100 not including any bonuses, reward or any other promotional amount offered by InvestEngine) for a minimum of 12 months from the date they funded their account before they can withdraw the prize.

We will request your details via trustpilot if your review is randomly selected as the winner and you’ll be contacted by email on or before 10/08/2022. If a winner does not respond to InvestEngine within 14 days of being contacted, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and InvestEngine shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). 2022 ISA Cashback Terms and Conditions

In the period 10/02/2022 to 05/04/2022 all new customers who successfully fund an InvestEngine ISA or transfer an ISA to InvestEngine will qualify for an ISA Cashback reward provided they meet the terms and conditions below.

The offer is only open to New Customers and only applies to one ISA Account per customer.

“New Customers” are individuals who:

have successfully opened and funded an account with InvestEngine and chosen a Portfolio;
have not previously registered with InvestEngine or have used our services in the past; and
in InvestEngine’s reasonable opinion, are capable of being accepted as a customer of InvestEngine, in accordance with the requirements of InvestEngine’s Standard Terms and Conditions and all applicable law.

InvestEngine reserves the right to cancel any Client Accounts which do not meet these criteria.

An individual or business will be considered to have opened and funded an account if they have:

completed the InvestEngine risk questionnaire if required;
provided all requisite information about themselves or the business as required by our onboarding process;
agreed to our Standard Terms and Conditions and any accompanying documentation;

funded the relevant Net Contribution as specified in this promotion.

The ISA Cashback will be calculated based on the ISA portfolio’s Net Contribution as at the Promotion Period End (18:00 on 05/04/2022). The ISA Cashback rewarded will be the Cashback specified in the highest applicable band in the following table:

The Net Contribution means the total amount funded or transferred into the relevant account by the New Customer in the period of this promotion minus any withdrawals, transfers or other redemption of capital. Any income paid out from an income portfolio does not count towards Net Contribution. Net Contribution is not the same as the account value and does not include any bonuses, reward or any other promotional amount offered by InvestEngine. For example, if a accounts Net Contribution is £4999, but due to performance the value as at the Promotional Period End is £5005, the reward will be £25. Conversely, if the Net Contribution is £5000 but the value as at the Promotional Period End is £4999, the reward will be £50.

The reward will be funded into the New Customer’s nominated bank account following the Promotional Period End. We will seek to complete this within two Business Days, however it may take up to 5 or more Business Days during busy periods. If the ISA Cashback has not been received within 5 Business Days, please contact our Support team.

The New Customer must maintain at least the Net Contribution as it stood at the Promotional Period End until 05/04/2023. Failure to comply with the above requirements shall result in InvestEngine reclaiming an amount equal to the value of the ISA Cashback from the New Customer’s account. The New Customer will not be eligible for a lower band of cashback if the Net Contribution drops into another band. Failure to meet our Standard Terms and Conditions may result in the closure of your Client Account.

Where a New Customer initiates an ISA transfer to InvestEngine before the Promotional Period End but InvestEngine has not received the funds by this time, the New Customer will be eligible for the applicable reward based on the value of the funds received by InvestEngine from the former ISA provider, and not the value as at the date of the Promotional Period End or any other value quoted. The New Customer will receive the reward following receipt of the funds, and must maintain the Net Contribution as specified above for 12 months from that date.

InvestEngineActive Welcome Bonus Terms and Conditions

In the period 14/09/2022 to 14/12/2022 all new sign-ups who have signed up (created an account by submitting their email address) for InvestEngine via a InvestEngine registration link associated with the InvestEngine Active charity run or scanning the QR code featured on the InvestEngineActive running shirts, will qualify for a £25 Welcome Bonus when they successfully complete registration and invest at least £100.

Upon successful completion of registration and having invested at least £100, InvestEngine will donate £10 directly to Women’s Aid.

The offer is only open to new users who have created an account using a InvestEngine sign up link associated with the InvestEngine Active charity run or scanned the InvestEngineActive QR code featured on the running shirt between 14/09/22 and 14/12/22 and who subsequently complete registration and invest by 14/12/22 and only applies to one Portfolio per customer.

To qualify for this promotion, you must not have previously completed registration with InvestEngine or invested with our services in the past.
